Just dropping in to share another practical cat health care tip with you! Hope you're having a first rate week! Customer, did you know that Б=80=A6 Cats are generally considered to be "kittens" until they reach maturity at approximately 1 to 1 б=BD years old. Caring for a kitten is much different than caring for an adult cat. Kittens need to be fed a diet nutritionally balanced to allow for proper growth. This usually means a "kitten food" or "growth formula" which contains a higher protein level than that found in other foods, as well as extra fat, and additional vitamins and minerals which will help your kitten get the right start in life. There are many good diets available. Some of my favorites are the Eukanubaб=AE Chicken and Rice Kitten Formula Cat Food and Science Diet Feline Growth Kitten Food. Nutroб=AE Natural Choiceб=AE Complete Care Kitten is another good choice for your kitten. Also, keep in mind that young kittens tend to be very curious and adventurous. They are usually very active and tend to get themselves into trouble on a regular basis...(I'll bet those of you who have a kitten right now know exactly what I mean...). For example, more than once, I've returned home to find toilet paper or paper towels shredded and scattered throughout my house. With a kitten in the house, it is important to "kitten proof" any areas that your kitten has access to and make sure that your kitten is well supervised when he/she is in other areas of the house. If you are not prepared to deal with this type of behavior, you may want to consider adopting an older, more sedate cat. Either way, I'm sure you'll get hours and hours of pleasure from your feline friend. That's our tip for the week! Well, thanks again for joining us. We appreciate you!
